7/18/08 Google (GOOG) and Microsoft (MSFT) shares slump on disappointing results. Citigroup (C), however, beats estimates helping many financials to extend their gains.

7/17/08 JP Morgan Beats estimates, oil falls further, and Dow extends gains.  Maybe the world isn't coming to an end after all.  Consider buying solid financial companies for the long term.

7/16/08 Stocks soar on drop in oil and Wells Fargo report. The Dow closes up 276 points, its biggest jump in more than 3 months. Its about time we had a good day!

7/11/08 Dow briefly falls below 11,000 for the first time in two years.
